When deciding what to eat on your vacation, consider cooking some meals at home before your trip. Foods such as stews, soups, sauces, and meatballs can be prepared at home and frozen. Beef and chicken can be precooked and cut into bitesize pieces to aid in the preparation of stews and casseroles at camp.

Specialty Policies Protect You against Lots of Things That Can Happen. Sometimes you can cover your RV by adding an
endorsement to a policy you already have. But, that coverage is usually pretty basic. To obtain increased coverage limits, as well as coverage types such as
personal effects, vacation liability, and total loss replacement coverage, you need the protection of a specialty policy.
One factor making it easier to purchase an RV is the predominant attitude among lenders that RVers are reliable buyers. Under 1.5 percent of all RV loans are delinquent. As a result, lenders are extending RV loan terms and making monthly payments more affordable, according to a survey of RV lenders published by Recreation Vehicle Industry Association (RVIA).

RV Coverages
At Atlas, we offer two policy types for recreational vehicles: comprehensive and liability only:
- Our comprehensive policies automatically provide protection against sudden and accidental loss due to a collision, fire, windstorm, landslide, vandalism and other perils.
- Liability only policies protect you against liability issues that may arise from using your RV.
We offer a variety of other coverages too, but, they're all optional. Why? Because that gives you maximum flexibility and ensures you don't pay for a coverage that
you don't need or want.
Optional Coverages
- Total Loss Coverage. Both of the following coverages can come in handy in the event of a total loss:
- Total Loss Replacement Coverage. This optional coverage, available on select units, pays to replace your RV if it is damaged beyond repair. You receive another unit of the same kind and quality. No depreciation!
- Outstanding Loan Balance Coverage. When a RV is protected for its actual cash value, a claim settlement for a total loss sometimes isn't enough to pay off an outstanding loan. This optional coverage ensures you're not left with a loan to pay and no RV to show for it! If you want this coverage, let us know within the first 30 days of owning your unit.
- Diminishing Deductible. This elective coverage lowers your deductible each year you remain claim-free. Be a safe driver, and in four years you'll have a zero deductible!
- Personal Effects Coverage. We offer motor home owners two choices for protecting their personal belongings: actual cash value or replacement cost coverage.
- Roadside Assistance. You won't need a separate service plan when you add this optional coverage to your policy. Whether your RV breaks down, you run out of gas, or you simply lock yourself out, call the toll-free number for assistance.
- Emergency Expense. Optional protection to pay temporary housing expenses when a covered peril disables your RV. The coverage also pays the cost to get you - and your RV - back home.
- Vacation Liability. Premises liability coverage, which protects against accidents that may happen on site while your unit is parked at a campsite or RV park.
- Full-Timers Coverage. We can provide liability protection, similar to a homeowner's policy. It's a good thing to have if you live in your RV all the time.
- Mexico Coverage. Going across the border? Add this optional coverage to your policy for physical damage protection while in Mexico.
- Tow Dolly Coverage. Full coverage policies automatically receive $2,000 in coverage; purchase additional protection if you need it.
All coverages may not be available in all states. Policy limits may also apply to coverage. Ask your agent for details.
